We have a longstanding tradition of helping in the community. Our firm has become widely recognized as a supporter of local causes, and our lawyers acknowledged as community leaders. Our firm sponsors a large number of community events and we encourage our lawyers and staff to participate. We are actively involved with various charitable and business advisory organizations in the North Okanagan; both as board members and legal counsel.

In addition, we financially support a number of initiatives in our community. The following are examples of major initiatives undertaken by Nixon Wenger in the recent past:

On an annual basis we fund a bursary at Okanagan College and six secondary school scholarships.

Every year we also sponsor numerous children's sports teams in baseball, hockey, soccer and ringette. Nixon Wenger annually gives scholarships to each High School in School District 22 (Charles Bloom, Kalamalka Secondary, Vernon Secondary, W.L. Seaton Secondary, Clarence Fulton Secondary, Pleasant Valley Secondary)
