WorkSafeBC - Introduction

WorkSafeBC administers the Workers Compensation Act in British Columbia. The Act governs workers who are injured or disabled on the job in British Columbia. If a worker is injured on the job, the worker, the employer, and the worker’s physician must report the injury and start a claim with WorkSafeBC. The claims process can be complex.

We advise and assist clients with claim problems with WorkSafeBC and the interpretation of the Workers Compensation Act. As well, we provide representation for workers and employers who disagree with a claim decision and in cases involving complicated legal, medical, or policy issues. Our lawyers have assisted with all levels of appeal, including appeals to the WorkSafeBC Review Division, the Workers` Compensation Appeals Tribunal (WCAT) and the Supreme Court of British Columbia.
