Worried about someone’s ability to manage their finances, legal or business affairs?

Know someone who needs help managing their health, well-being, or place of residence?

In British Columbia, you can apply to be appointed by the Supreme Court of British Columbia as “Private Committee” for a person who is mentally incapable.  A Private Committee manages the ongoing affairs of someone who is alive and protects that person’s best interests.

With some restrictions, the Private Committee acts in the place of the adult as if the adult were mentally capable.  If there is no one else willing and able to assist, the Public Guardian and Trustee may have a role in providing assistance to the adult by acting as Committee.

We save you hours of time and confusion navigating the court application process.
