Madeleine is an articling student at Nixon Wenger LLP. She received her Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University (2023) prior to moving back to the North Okanagan and joining the firm. During law school, Madeleine competed in two competitive moots; the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition (2022) and the Wilson Moot (2023), which addresses Constitutional Law issues in relation to minority populations. Madeleine and her team were awarded 1st place for the best factum in Canada for the Jessup Moot, and Madeleine was awarded the course prize for her participation in the Wilson Moot.
Madeleine has focused her studies and legal work experience on Family Law, and she is currently working in the Family Law department at Nixon Wenger LLP.
