Our lawyers provide representation concerning construction disputes of all types, including disputes relating to construction and design deficiencies, and claims arising under the Builders Lien Act. The practice of our Estate litigation lawyers spans the full spectrum of Estate litigation:  disputes in the administration of a trust or Estate, the interpretation of Wills, Wills Variation Act cases, resulting trust and constructive trust cases, applications to vary trusts and committeeships.  We also advise Executors and Trustees on their duties and responsibilities and on their remuneration and passing of accounts.  Our Estate litigation lawyers are experienced in alternative methods of dispute resolution, particularly the use of mediation to resolve claims against an Estate.

Our insurance group primarily acts for insurers and deals with a broad range of claims including bodily injury, property damage, multi-party construction litigation and subrogation. Our group also regularly provide coverage advice to insurers.

Nixon Wenger acts for property owners, developers, land owners and various private stakeholders on a variety of municipal/planning law disputes, including those pertaining to land use and land development.
